About the Event

Mindfulness can work wonders on the mind and the body. From helping with sleep issues to playing a part in the treatment of depression and anxiety, mindfulness can be a vital tool that doctors can use with their patients. In addition to the mental and emotional benefits, mindfulness has also been extremely positive in treating a wide range of physical conditions as well, including chronic pain, and even heart disease. 

On November 27 at 6:00 pm, Dr. John Doe, a Trinity College Dublin researcher who specializes in neuroscience and psychology, will be having a lecture on the potential benefits that mindfulness-based therapy can have when treating physical conditions.
